THE GAME OF LUCK

there lived a businessman, Lalaram in chandrika Nagar.

One day, his son bought a costly book in which it was stated that a man easily got what was in one'sluck. but what not get even if one tried hard . that is final. and there is no way to change that

The businessman was angry with his son for buying that coslty book. He criticised him by, calling him 'good for nothing' , 'useless' and drove him out.

Hewent to another city in grif. whoever met him, he told only one thing , "Man get one's due , without fail."

one day, chandrawati, the princess came to the city. There she saw a prince. HEr maid invited the princess in the palace.

He asked the way to reach there.

she told him that she would provide a leather-rope to the prince to climb up to the princess chamber.

later on the prince gave up the idea, as that was a sin.

when the princeof lala ram found a rope of leather hanging , he climbed up that. He met the princess, who treated him well.

when she asked him why he was silent . he said, " man gets one's due , without fail."

Princess understood that he was not prince and him out at once.

it was mid night, he went and slept in a deserted temple . There also, he met the guard of the city . The guard had thee to met his beloved.

When he made enquiries about him, he repeated the same sentence , "Man gets one's due, without fail."

from there the city guard also sent him away .

He went and then slept in a small courtyard. That yard was the meeting point of vinayavati and her lover and. she was the daughter of the city guard. she assumed him to be her lover and asked , if he was still angry with her. He repeated the pet sentence , "Man gets one's due, without fail."

from there too he was driven out.

He then started roaming about in the streets.

He joined a wedding-party. when the bride came out to garland the groom. there came a rogue elephant and present ran to save his life.

At that time Lala Ram's son saved the bride from the wild elephant ,by taking her away.

After some time , all came and the groom-party refused to accpet the bride , as she had gone with the son of Lala ram to save hereself.

The beide also rejected the groom, as he had run resolve to marry Lala ram's son.

When the day dawned , the princess and vinayavati  also came the they also declared wish to marry only the son of Lala Ram.

The chief minister had also come there. He asked the son of Lala Ram about his background. He  repeated his pet sentence, "man gets one's due, without  fail,"

The King also got enquiries made . ultimatelythe princess, vinayavati and the bride ,who was saved by Lala Ram's son, all were married to him

he thus achieved his due, as he read in the book.

                                            THE  GIST

man cannot get anything  beyond luck and before time. he need not mind loss of money , and should not be surprised if he gets something by chance. Behind all that there is the Divine hand. the boy got the due without wishing, which he could not get by wishing or by striving hard. it just happens.
